How to Draw Moona Hoshinova from hololive ID 1st Generation

Let’s learn how to draw Moona Hoshinova from hololive ID 1st Generation today!
Moona Hoshinova (ムーナ・ホシノヴァ) is a female Indonesian Virtual YouTuber associated with hololive, as part of the hololive Indonesia 1st Generation. She is a moon goddess, former model and university student, who enjoys doing gameplay streams, especially with games that involve building/crafting.

Moona introduced herself as a shy and quiet girl, though in the months following her debut, she rapidly developed into a more confident, upbeat talent. Moona often refers to herself as two souls sharing the same body: “Moona” and “Hoshinova”. First one is the human aspect who speaks normally, and the other one is the moon goddess aspect who speaks in a lower pitch and shows a much more ominous, malevolent, and provocative personality.

Her fanbase is called “Moonafic” (“Moona”+”fanatic”). This fan name is also intentionally a cognate of the Bahasa Indonesian word “munafik”, which means “hypocrite”. Her representative emote is a crystal ball, because of the stars inside and its use in fortune-telling. She is able to speak in Indonesian, English, and Japanese. Moona made a special livestream series called “Mamah Moona” during Ramadhan and also hosts “Moona Boona,” a series of streams about Indonesian ghost stories. She is fast learner when it comes to new games and she has a large appetite, frequently eating snacks on stream and talking about food. She loves to shitpost on Twitter while trying to connect with her fans.

Lighten all the construction lines by “stamping” the kneaded eraser on the paper. Make sure to refer to the picture bellow as you need to ink only some parts of the construction lines.

Step 10

Wait till the ink is nice and dry and erase all the construction lines.

Step 11

To add colors, make sure to sketch the color outlines with the right color or pencil first.

If your goal is to become a real Mangaka and design your own manga characters make sure to try to draw Moona Hoshinova from memory several times. Always compare the drawing to the original and correct any mistakes you see. Do this till you are happy with the result. It doesn’t have to look exactly the same, don’t sweat the details. The point is that you get the main shapes right and that it looks good. This is the best way to build a huge library of manga shapes in your memory that you can use to draw and design your own manga characters ^-^.
Draw with passion! ^_^
